• Literary: reading and evaluating scripts, corresondance with literary agents and playwrights, maintain literary database and script library, manage outside readers, work with NY representative on scouting readings and workshops. Assistant to Executive Director: writing correspondance, communicating with Board of Directors, editing and layout of bi-monthly Board Newsletter, assembling agendas, taking minutes, scheduling and coordinating meetings, editing and layout of Playbill.

• Casting duties: call actors and agents to schedule audition times; prepare sides and scripts for auditions and readings; reader for auditions. Literary duties: reading and evaluating new play sample submissions and full scripts; drafting correspondence to playwrights and agents; conducting research and preparing dramaturgical packets for productions; maintaining the Literary Department’s databases and script library. Artistic duties: Copy editing for Backstage Magazine; writing features; transcribing interviews; editing and compiling articles; assisting with overall design; meeting preparation; theater research and press assemblage.
Seattle Repertory Theatre, Sept. 2002-May 2003 Artistic/Literary Intern
• Duties included assisting directors and playwrights in production, reading and evaluating scripts, participating in season planning and Hot Type selection, literary administration, writing for Prologue magazine, pre-production research and dramaturgy, and setting up auditions.
