COMING UP!

2018

RTC Women in Theatre: Resetting the Stage Directors Panel - I'll be speaking on a panel of of female directors (including Rebecca Taichman, Kathleen Marshall, Leigh Silverman, and Whitney White), to talk about the inequities in the business and how the industry can create more opportunities for mentorships and create pathways into the field.  The panel will be held on Monday, January 22 at 5 pm in the StubHub Theatre on 39th Street and is being produced in association with The Interval, and moderated by writer, director, and producer Amy Sherman-Palladino (Gilmore GirlsThe Marvelous Mrs. Maisel).

Something Clean by Selina Fillinger, The Roundabout Underground Reading Series, Tuesday 1/23 at 7pm (R)

BroadwayCon - I'll be speaking on a panel titled Playing Theatre History. "Broadway is filled with memorable history plays. Shows like 1776HamiltonThe Crucible, and The Normal Heart help us unpack our past, examine it anew, and work through ongoing challenges. And some of the funniest pieces of theatrethink Noises Off or The Producershave dealt directly with the making of plays. But a combination of both histories, cultural and theatrical, informs how plays are staged just as much as it impacts what we see when we take our seat to watch them. Panelists will discuss how their knowledge of theatre history impacts the choices they make as writers, directors, and actors." Held on Saturday, January 27 at 1pm at the Javits Center in the Hildy Parks Room.
